An Afternoon With The Animal Rescue League of Boston

Join Dr. Edward Schettino, the Animal Rescue League of Boston's (ARL) President & CEO; Dr. Nicole Breda, Director of Veterinary Medicine; and Dr. Markeya Williams, Lead Veterinarian at Boston Veterinary Care on Tuesday, August 16, from 3:00pm-4:00pm for a special afternoon at the Brookline Public Library. The program will include: An overview of ARL and its history ARL's community and shelter medicine programs A special Q&A session Potential opportunity to meet some four-legged friends! City of Boston Free Rabies Clinic

Animal Rescue League of Boston - Boston location 10 Chandler St, Boston, MA, United States

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is teaming up with the City of Boston to provide no-cost rabies vaccines to Boston residents on Saturday, September 17 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the ARL's Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center located at 10 Chandler St. This clinic is first come, first served, no appointments are needed. Space is limited.  No-cost Available Services Rabies Distemper Microchip Dog Licensing will also be available onsite. All pets must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older and on a leash or in a carrier.

Participating in Bone Up Brewing Company’s Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest

Our animal-loving friends at Bone Up Brewing Company will be hosting a Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest on Saturday, 10/22 and Sunday 10/23 from 12:00pm-4:00pm at their beer garden (38 Norman Street, ​Everett, MA). The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) team will be at the event on Sunday from 12:00pm-3:00pm providing information on how to volunteer and foster at ARL and the potential to meet some ARL adoptable dogs. Help Stock Our Food Pantry March 26–31 The Keep Pets S.A.F.E. (Supporting Animals and Families Everyday), program was launched three years ago to help keep pets with their families during emergencies, with services that include a pet food pantry. The need is greater than ever. The number of pet meals we provided to the community last year increased by more than 20% and we have already received more than 100 calls to our hotline this year. The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is teaming up with the City of Boston to provide low-cost rabies vaccines on Saturday, June 3 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the BCYF Tobin Community Center located at 1481 Tremont St, Roxbury, MA. This clinic is first come, first served, no appointments are needed. For the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), whether it be Boston’s South End, Dedham, or Brewster, we are more than a service agency for animals – we are a part of the communities in which we reside and are honored to participate in celebrations that bring these communities together. The Boston Pride Parade is an event that ARL is proud to be a part of year after year! The massive parade route cuts through the heart of downtown Boston, ending at City Hall Plaza.
