The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) will be joining this year’s fun by marching in the Flag Day Parade on June 14, at 6:00pm. The parade route kick off on East Street at Dedham Middle School and features local marching bands, colorful floats, and special appearances from community groups. On July 13, 2024, fancy cars will take to the roads of the Cape for an exciting scavenger hunt and fundraising opportunity. The Animal Rescue League of Boston's (ARL) Brewster Animal Care & Adoption Center will serve as a brief stop during the “race” for participating cars to gather their next clue. The Edward Gorey Charitable Trust with host its annual cocktail soirée set within the enchanting confines of the Strand Bookstore's Rare Book Room. The party and fundraiser will be held on 7/31/24 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The event will feature custom-made drinks and a chance to view original art, manuscripts, and rare printed materials up close, all in honor of Edward Gorey’s indelible mark on the world. Please join our longtime supporters for their annual Emily Rossetti-Mcaleer Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1:00pm. The tournament will take place at the Shining Rock Golf Club in Northbridge, MA. Tickets are $190 per player, including golf with a cart, a goodie bag, and a post-round dinner.
