Boston Pride Parade

Pride, joy, unity, among others. For the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), whether it be Boston’s South End, Dedham, or Brewster, we are more than a service agency for animals – we are a part of the communities in which we reside and are honored to participate in celebrations that bring these communities together. The Boston Pride Parade is an event that ARL is proud to be a part of year after year! The massive parade route cuts through the heart of downtown Boston, ending at City Hall Plaza. Dogs in the Province Lands Book Launch Party

Join us to celebrate the launch of the Dogs in the Province Lands coffee table book! Join us on June 9 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Governor Bradford in Provincetown for a book launch party and book signing. Dogs in the Province Lands is a lavishly illustrated coffee table book, authored by Kim Roderiques, a long-time Cape Cod resident and ARL volunteer. It features dogs in the extraordinary location of the Province Lands and Provincetown. Proceeds from the book and event will support the mission of ARL and help animals in need. City of Boston Low-Cost Rabies Clinic

BCYF Tobin Community Center 1481 Tremont St, Roxbury

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is teaming up with the City of Boston to provide low-cost rabies vaccines on Saturday, June 15 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the BCYF Tobin Community Center location located at 1481 Tremont St, Roxbury, MA. This clinic is first come, first served, no appointments are needed. Space is limited.  Rabies Vaccine Fees The rabies vaccine is free for Boston and non-Boston residents. Dog Licensing Fees Dog Licensing will also be available onsite. All pets must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older and on a leash or in a carrier. $15 spayed/neutered (please provide proof)

Dedham Flag Day Parade

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) will be joining this year’s fun by marching in the Flag Day Parade on June 14, at 6:00pm. The parade route kick off on East Street at Dedham Middle School and features local marching bands, colorful floats, and special appearances from community groups. Buffalo Exchange Tokens for Bags® Fundraiser

ARL is happy to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Buffalo Exchange Tokens for Bags® program from July through December 2024. You can now support ARL just by shopping at Buffalo Exchange in Somerville and in Brookline. Instead of a plastic bag, the Tokens for Bags® program offers every customer who makes a purchase one “token” valued at five cents (the cost to produce a bag) to donate to one of several local charities selected by the store. Cape Cod British Car Club Scavenger Hunt

On July 13, 2024, fancy cars will take to the roads of the Cape for an exciting scavenger hunt and fundraising opportunity. The Animal Rescue League of Boston's (ARL) Brewster Animal Care & Adoption Center will serve as a brief stop during the “race” for participating cars to gather their next clue.
