Bring your canine friend out for a special Dedham Dog Day event on 9/17/23 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Dolan Recreation Center (269 Common St, Dedham, MA). This event will feature 20+ local vendors and exhibitors, educational demonstrations, raffles, food & drink, and adoptable dogs from area rescues. Admission is free and benefits the Dedham Dog Park.

The 4th Jeeps & Cones event hosted by animal-lover Natasha A. is back! This free event on Saturday, October 28, from 12-3 pm helps put our neighborhood in the Halloween spirit, as the public showcase their beloved--and costumed--canines. Our panel of judges will declare winners in the categories of Best Costume, Scariest Costume, Cutest Costume, Best Dog & Human Duo, and Best Dog & Child Duo. Fantastic prizes, including hotel stays and gift baskets, from the neighborhood will be up for grabs! As part of the free family-friendly fun, face-painters and caricature artists will be on Summer Street to complement an array of dog-themed vendors. The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is teaming up with the City of Boston to provide low-cost rabies vaccines on Saturday, March 2 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at ARL's Boston location located at 10 Chandler St, Boston, MA. This clinic is first come, first served, no appointments are needed. Space is limited. Rabies Vaccine Fees Boston residents: $5 Boston residents over the age of 70: $2 Non-residents: $10 Dog Licensing Fees Dog Licensing will also be available onsite. All pets must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older and on a leash or in a carrier. $15 spayed/neutered (please provide proof)
