From January 2 to January 12, 2025, adopters can save $100 on adoption fees for cats and dogs at ARL’s Animal Care & Adoption Center locations in Boston, Brewster (Cape Cod), and Dedham. Edward Gorey at 100: An Evening Forgathering at the Nunnery

Join the Edward Gorey House for the celebration of a lifetime. On February 22nd – Edward Gorey's 100th birthday – from 5:30 - 8:30, the House will be observing an evening of festivities at the Ballroom of the Mansion at Ocean Edge. A catered dinner, accompanied by Gorey cocktails and Birthday Treats, is to be followed by a silent auction and other mysterious festivities. $100/person; $80/Member. Tickets include passed hors d’oeuvres, a pasta station, a Gorey cocktail, a birthday toast, cake, and coffee. Keep Pets F.E.D. Food Drive

The Keep Pets S.A.F.E. (Supporting Animals and Families Everyday), program was launched three years ago to help keep pets with their families during emergencies, with services that include a pet food pantry. The need is greater than ever. The number of pet meals we provided to the community last year increased by more than 20% and we have already received more than 100 calls to our hotline this year. Our resources have been pushed to the limit and we urgently need your help to Keep Pets F.E.D. (Full Every Day). We are in need of: Dry cat food (13+ lb bags)

City of Boston Low-Cost Rabies Clinic

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is teaming up with the City of Boston to provide low-cost rabies vaccines on Saturday, March 1 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the BCYF Perkins location located at 155 Talbot Ave, Dorchester, MA 02124. . This clinic is first come, first served, no appointments are needed. Jr’s Paws For a Cause 5K
