Food Policy

As a leader in animal welfare, the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) strives to reduce animal suffering, and honor our commitment to helping animals and the people who care about them. 

Therefore, all food offered as part of an event or activity hosted by ARL will be vegetarian and/or plant-based. To honor our mission, vision, and values, this policy includes, but is not limited to staff meetings, employee events, donor events, volunteer appreciation, Board meetings, and reimbursable meals. 

ARL respects that dietary choices are personal, so those with food allergies or preferences are welcome to bring their own meals to ARL events.
